2 Great Sailing Podcast Episodes

Patrick has me listening to episodes of The Sailing Podcast, and I have to admit I am really enjoying them. I have been jumping around and not going in order (unlike my German counterpart) so I can not say these are the two best ones by far, but they are two that I have loved listening to and highly recommend!

10 Steps to Becoming Full Time Cruisers

I really loved how many parallels could be drawn between getting ready for a boat trip and getting ready for a motorcycle one.

And their very first episode was an interview with Allan Breckall, who talks about his experience crossing the Tasman Sea (his first bluewater sailing experience) where he encounters a storm that flipped his boat twice. Not only did he live to tell the tale, he continued sailing right up until his tragic death in a motorcycle accident in 2013.
