Chasing Summer: Needing A Vacation From Your Vacation

First off: yes, it was my choice to go for that picture of me! 😛 Too often we only see the pretty pictures of a dream completed, not the ones of the blood, sweat and tears that go into the realization of a dream. I thought that fit the article well!

The inspiration for this article came when I read around the world on a Royal Enfield Vegi Bike’s blog post about hanging out and being a beach bum in Malaysia. Harry started his trip around the same time as we did and seemed to have the same thoughts of needing a vacation from his vacation at this point in time! So here it is, why motorcycle trips are more adventure than vacation, and why at times it is just nice to take a break!

And a much nicer picture to round out the one for the article:

hello darling! Funny…! I have been thinking so much of you in the last weeks, and only yesterday I spent lots of time of my ‘thesis’ time looking for some info about you being still happilly alive :). And, I actually read your last article! I guess I get how you feel… BUT, let me nevertheless join (just shortly) those shaking their heads, and say one thing: I would immediatelly change your aching butt for my yet unfinished thesis! Hope your are feeling better now! And congratulations for your books! Where are you now, and heading to?
Miss you so much! Hugs for both of you!

I have been thinking of you constantly! Maybe I am sending some brain waves! I keep telling myself to email you and then when I have internet I find myself not wanting to do anything but read silly things. So I will write you an email tonight! But first I need to finish the ride asia handbook for our betas, and then a giant mail! 🙂 But I think the important thing I have learned the past few years is moderation, too much of good or bad thing thing is bad! 😛
