Since we adopted Mango (actually I think he adopted us) in Thailand he has become a seasoned traveler. He rides ferries, trains, motorcycles, and vans without any problem. Only when it comes to airplanes do we hit a slight snag, those he does not like at all.
Now that we have moved to Berlin one might think that is it for traveling and new vehicles for a while. Nope, not for Mango.
His new thing is sailing. He hops on and of the boat like a monkey and is an avid protector of the boat against ducks and swans.
I am the captain!
Last weekend we went for an overnight sailing trip. Only one problem remained: He can’t pee overboard. Peeing on the boat is not an option, at least not for him since he doesn’t like to pee where he lives. That means: He had to learn how to swim to go to the shore for a pee break. After some confusion and fearful moments he managed that as well. Not very gracefully mind you, but he did it.
Not so brave anymore. Please let me on that swimvest..
